To our wonderful patrons,

We want to thank each and every one of you for supporting the Cherry Bowl Drive-In. For generations, this special place has been more than just a theatre—it’s been a summer tradition, a place for first dates, family nights, and cherished memories under the stars.

But we need to share something honestly with you: it’s becoming apparent that many patrons are bringing in more and more outside food.

🍿 Did you know? A very large portion of every ticket sale goes directly to the movie studios. That means the money we rely on to pay staff, maintain the grounds, keep the projectors running, and continue offering the unique drive-in experience you love comes almost entirely from our concession stand.

We’re not trying to be the food police—we get it, times are tough, and it’s tempting to pack your own snacks. But when that happens on a large scale, it genuinely threatens our ability to stay open.

So if you love the Cherry Bowl and want to see us around for years to come, please consider buying your snacks and meals from us. Every hot dog, every tub of popcorn, every Cherry Bowl treat—it all helps us survive.

We truly appreciate your understanding, your support, and your continued love for this magical little corner of Northern Michigan.
