sunflower photography Hi! We are Lisa and Kayla, a mother and daughter team, who love capturing your memories! Welcome to Sunflower Photography!

We are photographers who prefers outdoor, natural light sessions but will also shoot indoor sessions in our home for seniors or small children. When you leave a session with us, you will feel like you have had a fun, relaxing experience with memories that you will cherish for a long time. During the school year, we are available most weekends to book your photo shoot, but summers we are available anytime!!!! Enjoy browsing the galleries that we have on this site and please feel to contact us if you have any questions.We want to thank our family and friends for their encouragement and support as we continue this journey! We especially want to thank the men in our lives for being patient and supporting us, especially on those long editing nights and busy marathon session weekends.

It was a beautiful August day at My Sisters' Barn in Fairgrove, MI for a wedding! After the bridal party came down the aisle, a recording was played with Jordan talking to Jordin. As the barn doors opened, Jordan and her parents took a selfie (her last picture with her parents as a Gulick), and then they made their way down the aisle. After saying their vows and exchanging rings, Jordan and Jordin branded a board with "their brand".

Jordan and Jordin put a lot of thought and meaning into how their time would be spent before they walked down the aisle to become husband and wife. Gifts to each other, gifts for their parents, a first look for Jordan's mom and dad (her dad thought it would be Jordan and then was surprised to see her mom), a first look for Jordan and her dad, a first look for Jordin and his mom, and a prayer before the ceremony started. A lot of tears were shed (including by the photographers) as you could feel the love Jordan and Jordin have for each other and the people who raised them to be the adults they are today.
