Last summer will forever be one of the most meaningful moments of my career. I had the honor of planning the Pinckney Scholars Family Reunion right here in my hometown of Charleston, SC. A place that shaped me, raised me, and gave me this incredible program that changed my life. 🥹

This reunion wasn’t just an event. It was a homecoming.
It was a space to honor and remember the Emanuel AME Church shooting victims on the 10th anniversary. 🕊

It was a celebration of a new class of scholars stepping into their future. 🎓

And it was a chance for so many of us, myself included, to reconnect with the people who walked alongside us through college, supported us, and became family. 🫂

Being a Pinckney Scholar gave me a community unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. To return years later as the planner for this reunion felt full‑circle in the most emotional, humbling way.

I’m so grateful I got to pour my heart into this day.
