Late post here, last weekend we went to one of our favorite competitions down in Canton,mn

So here is how it went, we turned in what we thought was really good food, no issues everything went smoothly but the judges thought a little different.

9th place chicken 🐔 Springer Mountain Farms
6th place ribs Prairie Fresh
7th overall

Congratulations to Dean Tinjum and Big Ten Bones on his 1st kcbs Grand championship and Porket About It on Rgc

On to Zimmerman this weekend if you're looking for something to do we will be at 10th Annual Rib Fest Cook-Off at the Zimmerman American Legion. Come check it out.

Late and long post. We traveled down to Great River Threshers BBQ Contest in Miles Iowa, for a 2 day competition.

We had such a great time we were able to meet a bunch of BBQ family that we don't always get to see because of the distance.

First I want to thank Tory Ketelsen and his crew ran a great competition.
Thank you to Family Tradition Bbq for feeding us both mornings. That's why I love BBQ people everyone is awesome.

So here is how the full weekend went

Day 1
4th place chicken 🐔 Springer Mountain Farms
2nd place ribs 🍖 Prairie Fresh
2nd place pork Compart Family Farms
Reserve grand champ 🏆
Congratulations to Chester's Twisted Que o Grand Champion 🏆

Day 2
1st place chicken 🐔 179.44 Springer Mountain
13th place ribs 🍖 not sure why?
6th place overall

Congratulations Bramble Barbeque on Grand championship 🏆 huge score
Bbq Pit Bros on Reserve grand championship. Great score on your chicken 🐔

So they combined both days together for the overall.

We took it home Grand Grand Champion 🏆 🥇

Congratulations to Twisted Q on overall Reserve Grand Champion.

It was great meeting a bunch of teams from outside our normal travel area. Until next time
