Hey y’all!

Our goal is to raise $44,000 to help secure the space and cover the renovation and build-out costs needed to bring it to life. So far, our community has already helped us raise more than $12,000! 🎉

In August alone:
🥪 Nine people became members
👕 More than 20 pieces of merch were purchased, contributing $750
❤️ 11 people donated over $2,400
🤝 Five local business owners—and so many community members—showed us their support

This mission is much bigger than opening a restaurant. We’re not just creating a home for quality food in North Minneapolis—we’re creating a home for a quality community. A place to grab a great sandwich, connect with your neighbors, bring your family, meet someone new, and feel like you belong.

Hey, neighbors! 🥪❤️

Sandwich Club is working to secure a permanent brick-and-mortar home in the Camden neighborhood of North Minneapolis—right down the road from Robbinsdale. And we’re getting closer, y’all!

Our goal is to raise $44,000 to help secure the space and cover the renovation and build-out costs needed to bring it to life. So far, our community has already helped us raise more than $12,000! 🎉

What a day in the Victory neighborhood! 🛠️🏡

We had the chance to cater a recent Habitat for Humanity of MN home build on behalf of Meet Minneapolis, and it was such a joy to keep an incredible crew fueled up while they worked together to build a home for some future neighbors—just a half-mile from our own home!

There’s something extra special about serving food to people who are literally helping build community, one wall (and one lunch break) at a time. 💛

A huge bonus: Councilwoman LaTrisha Vetaw stopped by, and the wonderfully talented Ryo Hamasaki | Photographer captured some seriously great moments from the day.
Big hearts, hard hats, full plates, and a whole lot of neighborhood pride!

In the past few months we’ve had the pleasure of gaining hundreds more followers. We wanted to take a moment to tell more of our story and give some insight into who we are and how we arrived at the decision to serve sandwiches in Minneapolis.

We are fundraising on our brand new website with our brand new brand energy. We have shirts, hats and stickers available on our website. We are also selling a limited amount of “founding memberships” for $1000 that include a few exclusive perks.

For those of you that don’t know, we have never asked tips (other than our recent pop-up and the few people who refused change or left money on the counter when I wasn’t paying attention 😂)
We are asking you to pay those tips forward now if you feel inclined to do so.

To be 💯 honest it’s pretty hard for us to accept help. Up until this point we have taken on all of the financial successes and failures of our dream. This is the first time we are asking for your money with no guarantee of food in return. This is first time we have truly felt confident that we have a clear path toward our dream of a Sandwich Clubhouse.

We have been dreaming of this moment for over 3 years. We have an amazing opportunity to cement Sandwich Club in the neighborhood it was started in. For that to become a reality we need everyone to get LOUD about how much we NEED places to gather in our beautiful often forgotten corner of North Minneapolis.

Ways to help: Visit our website, click the “support” button and buy a shirt, buy a friend or partner shirt or hat. You can also become a founding member by donating $1000 which comes with other merchandise and other incentives, or a donation amount of your choosing.

Let us all remember that this mission is not just about bringing a tasty food option to our community but also about creating a place of pride for people of all walks of life to break bread, connect and grow together. Together we believe we can create something beautiful that stands the test of time. A place the young ones can grow up celebrating life’s milestones and others can find solace when they need a friendly face and a hot meal. I just wanted to say a big ol’ massive thank you to our community of folks that get us. To the ones that understand North Minneapolis deserves something special, because it is a wonderful, diverse and intentional place to live. We want to grow our relationship with North Minneapolis and start a sandwich revolution. Something permanent that can stand the test of time. We have so many more ideas we can’t wait to share.

Also, a big thank you to Rob & Lee for showing up with no idea what to expect and cooking like professionals 🤠

Thank you to all of the people behind the scenes that shot extra footage, designed our menu, cut out table tents, shared our videos, & brought a friend who had never had Sandwich Club. It means the world to us that we can use our flavor superpower to meet and connect with so many amazing vibrant people in our city. Our hearts are full, & we have inspiration to keep making moves toward our permanent place for all to gather.

We had a crazy weekend. Thank you all!

We feel incredibly blessed to have such a supportive and ravenously hungry following of sandwich fans.

Big shout out to our friends and temporary employees Lee and Rob who stepped in and crushed it on the line.

We sold hundreds of sandwiches. Friday was crazy, apologies to anyone who had to wait (especially for takeout) 😅

We feel so seen and encouraged to keep pushing this little sandwich concept. We have lots more photos and footage to share and more news about fundraising.
