At Lens On Records, we believe that the lack of access to creative tools should never determine access to creative careers.

Through our philanthropic arm, Mish A Foundation, we are preparing to launch the Youth Creative Career Empowerment (Y.C.C.E.) program, a hands-on creative workforce experience for high school youth of color.

To support the program’s launch, we are building several Creator Stations where students can learn DJ & Audio Production, Photography & Visual Storytelling, Creative Production & Event Experience, and digital storytelling.

Thanks to corporate supporters like Trimate Air HVAC-R, two program laptops have already been seeded. We are now inviting additional partners to help us complete the Creative Hub with devices that will power portfolio creation, creative experimentation, and hands-on learning.

This year wasn’t easy, but it was powerful.

Lens on Records faced challenges, learned hard lessons, and kept moving forward with purpose. Through every obstacle, we remained committed to our craft, our clients, and our community.

To everyone who booked us, partnered with us, referred us, or simply believed in what we’re building, thank you. Your support carried us through.

We’re closing this year proud, grateful, and ready for 2026 as we will be celebrating our 10th year in business.

The Lens on Records Mish A Foundation’s Youth Creative & Career Empowerment (Y.C.C.E.) Program is seeking DJ/audio producers, photographers, and event producers to serve as facilitators & mentors for high-school youth of color May-October 2026.

If someone had pulled you aside in high school and said
“this can be a career,” imagine how different things might’ve been.

That’s what Y.C.C.E. is about.

We’re looking for working creatives to show high-school youth of color what’s possible. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be you and willing to share the path.
