Today we take the biggest exhale. 😮💨
This past year has been effing crazy dealing with the closing of . We made the decision last spring, but knew we had weddings for the 2024 season and May of 2025 that we had to finish out. We didn’t want those who had booked to worry because we would never have let it close before their big day. But it was HARD. We have been overly stressed, and the uncertainty of things really weighed on us.
If I went into all of the reasons we decided to close, it would be a long read. But those who know, know it was not an easy decision. The building was old, it leaked EVERYWHERE… The amount of panic attacks we would have over the rain was so bad… Our landlords did not do what they said they would to maintain a space acceptable enough to host weddings and events. We put so much of our time, money and energy into trying to make it great but in the end, the space was no longer bringing us joy.
Dos Goats brings us joy, planning for couples is what we love to put our energy into and what we are excited to continue to put our energy into. We are so excited to have more time to dedicate to planning, start doing more Cortana social planning, and grow this beautiful business of ours.
Like we said from the moment we decided we were closing.. “They can’t all be bangers.”
