Our annual School Supply Drive was back, and once again, our team showed up in a big way. 🎒✏️📚

Organized and supported 100% by Minneapolis Convention Center staff, this year’s drive collected hundreds of school supplies to support students through the Kids In Need Foundation.

From pencils and notebooks to crayons, markers, backpacks and more, every donation will help provide students with the tools they need to learn, create and succeed.

A big thank you to our staff for coming together to make a difference for students in our community. We’re proud of the generosity and care our team continues to show beyond our walls. 💛

We still can’t get over last weekend’s WWE SummerSlam Takeover at the Minneapolis Convention Center! 🤼‍♂️🔥

For three action-packed days, the MCC was buzzing with WWE fans, exclusive experiences, Superstar appearances and plenty of SummerSlam energy. From the first bell to the final photo op, it was an unforgettable weekend in Minneapolis.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring the excitement to our halls — and to the WWE fans who made the Convention Center part of one of the biggest parties of the summer!

Needless to say… we’re still feeling the energy. 💥

♣️ Thank you, American Contract Bridge League - ACBL!

Earlier this week, the North American Bridge Championships concluded at the Minneapolis Convention Center, bringing thousands of bridge players from across North America together for several weeks of competition, learning and camaraderie. We were honored to welcome the ACBL community to Minneapolis and thank the organization for choosing our city to host one of the premier events in the world of bridge. We hope attendees enjoyed both the tournament and everything Minneapolis has to offer.

The Minneapolis Convention Center will be busy during the third quarter of 2026 with host numerous meetings, conventions, trade shows and sporting events. Highlights of the Q3 event calendar include several shows open to the public, including Collect-A-Con, The Gothic Market, WWE Superstore, Big Minneapolis Anime, IMPORTEXPO and The Nostalgia Con.
