We are living through challenging times in our beloved city of Minneapolis. These words from Dr. King have been resonating in our bones for the past couple of weeks. The love we have for our community has only grown as we have witnessed thousands of people taking to the streets to stand up for what they believe is right; patrolling schools to keep them safe; organizing mutual aid and food drives to support neighbors who are too fearful to leave their homes. There is so much light in this town. So much love spreading around. We all must shine our light in our own way, and use whatever gifts we possess to do our small part. Our hope is that we all carry these words and sentiments not just on this one day, but on all days throughout the year. The arc is long, but let's continue bending it - every day; always.

2025 Year in Review: One of the things we're most proud of this year (that once again, we did not have time to post about!) was the fact that our founder, Michaella, was named one of 's
Top 50 Chief Experience Officers of 2025.

She's not one to toot her own horn, but gave in to sharing a snippet from their article: "As a skilled “experience creator” with a firm belief that events can be dynamic and awe-inspiring without wreaking havoc on the planet, Michaella leads a seasoned team working with nonprofit, corporate, and individual clients to produce unforgettable experiences."

We have so much gratitude for our collaborators, clients, colleagues, and friends who make our corner of the world feel a little richer each day. We also know that Thanksgiving is a complex holiday. As a small business owned by a white person with privilege, we acknowledge first and foremost that we are on Dakota land that saw a lot of suffering during the times for which this holiday was established. We can’t right all the wrongs of the past, but we can learn about them and we can strive to make the world a better place, one project at a time.
