It's a place to create, connect + collaborate with others who share the yearning for learning + creating. LAB Headquarters is located on the North end of Loring Park, across from The Basilica. Take the elevator from the historic alley

way up to 3R - we are on the top floor. We want to support the art of crafting by providing a fun atmosphere for you to learn and create while socializing with others, and leave feeling completely inspired. Founders: Jessica Moriarty and Mollie Windmiller are the co-founders of LAB. Together, they offer the perfect combination of passion and skills to curate LAB MPLS. Mollie, president of Windmiller Design Group, has an unrivaled eye for design and branding. Jessica is the owner of Prime and Polish, the home décor boutique in Minneapolis. Mix Jessica’s knowledge of DIY projects, interior design and home décor with Mollie’s design expertise and enthusiasm, and we’ve got a duo that’s ready to conduct labs for all things creative!

Let’s get visual. 🌿⁠

For Interact Therapy’s new identity, every element was chosen to create a brand that was soft, welcoming, and inspired by the children they work with each day. The pastel color palette trades the sterile blues and whites common in healthcare branding for something warmer and more welcoming. Paired with a mix of custom serif and sans-serif fonts, the brand intentionally balances playfulness with a clean, professional edge. ⁠

From there, we built out a set of textured, organic illustrations to bring movement to the brand. Those same illustrations became the foundation for custom patterns that can live throughout their new office spaces, bringing the brand off the screen and into real life, setting the tone the minute families walk through the door. ⁠

SALT was designed to feel timeless from day one — clean, natural, elevated with the warmth and approachability a local salon deserves. As with all of our favorite projects, we got to touch every single detail of the business to tell the brand’s story. ⁠

The logo was just the beginning. From there, LAB extended the brand identity into interior design concepts, furniture and accessory selection, a curated mini boutique of local businesses, signage, print materials, website design, social media strategy, email marketing, and custom illustrations. Every detail — the way a product sits on a shelf, the feeling you get when you walk through the door, the font on the menu — was considered as part of one coherent visual world.⁠
