Let’s dance!

We love this part of the night. The speeches are done, someone’s requesting a song they’ve been waiting for all day, and your friends are making sure you don’t sit down for too long.

Through our windows, the Mississippi gets a little quieter as the evening goes on.

A river view for your first dance, and room for everyone to join you for the next one. That’s our kind of wedding night.

Your venue has a manager. Do you still need a day-of coordinator? 💍

Before you check “coordination” off your wedding list, here’s what to know:

🏡 Your venue manager knows the space inside and out. They oversee venue operations and help everything on site run smoothly during your rental hours.

📋 Your day-of coordinator manages your wedding’s moving pieces: vendor communication, your detailed timeline, getting-ready logistics, photo schedules, and cues throughout the day. Many start working with you 4–6 weeks beforehand.

🤝 They work together. Each brings a different kind of support, so having a venue manager doesn’t automatically replace hiring a coordinator.

Before booking, ask:
• Who will be there on our wedding day?
• What responsibilities are included?
• Who manages our full timeline and communicates with vendors?
• Are rehearsal and off-site logistics covered?

Even an “all-inclusive” package deserves a closer look. Check the contract so you know exactly what coordination includes.
