MORE CONGRATULATIONS!

Sophia W. came to class and worked at her job. Not an easy task! But yes, commitment was evident-

She wasn't too excited about Art in Bloom at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, which we participate in as a school, until we got onsite and started the installation. It was a highlight-

And three months or so after Sophia started classes, she was asked to do some funeral pieces for a family member. She stepped up to do these with some direction and has not looked back.

Today's Tribute Designs

Changes to handling the end of life have been seen in the last decade, and sharing this information with our clients is so good to allow them to process their loss.

For those of you who are steeped in this facet of service, you are doing a work that is important and can bring untold comfort to those affected by this life change.

Thank you for what you do.

A client of Koehler & Dramm Wholesale Florist shared with me that their work has shifted from weddings to tributes and they have found it so rewarding.

If you are looking for more ideas or more information on the changes going on in this part of service to our communities, you are invited to join Diane in a class next year. She will be teaching February 15-19 and September 20-24, 2027.

To all of the participants in the 2026 NCF Floral Design Competition. For trying something new, for challenging yourself, for stirring your creativity!

The theme was 'Garden Party Glam,' and the participants brought two completed designs in: 1) a floral couture hat that blends floristry and fashion, and 2) a designer's choice.

The final stage is held in the evening of the 7th day:
6-7:30 pm at the Dirt Stage in the same builkding.
