Time for the announcement of the year 📆 ✨ I’ll be making my return to this fall and I couldn’t be more excited to continue to showcase the evolution of my project.

As those who know me know, this festival is a huge part of what my year orbits around and goes so far beyond just playing a set. From art installs to festival coordination, to somehow finding time to prepare a set of originals and homie tunes, Symmetry is truly an amalgamation of so many of my dreams.

An inadvertent tradition began year one after I played a closeout set on The Woods stage (back when it was still a renegade). That tradition solidified itself by complete accident after weather pushed my year 2 set to closing out the main stage - what a dream! So what does this mean?

This means I’ll be returning in our third year to close out the .digital stage. Expect a bit of a different set from the usual, with a focus on wave, emotional and vibrant bass music, and of course some of the usual heavyweight material to make those Voids bang.

To all my friends who haven’t made it down yet, holler at me. Let’s get you down to the corn fields to come close out the 2026 festival season. This set is going to be special, and the third year of Symmetry even more so!

Happy to announce my first show of the year, I’ll be headlining right here at home in Fairfield, IA.

When I was first approached about playing a show right now I was quite reticent. It didn’t feel right to put on a party right now, especially since I am from Minneapolis.

I let the crew know that I only felt right about playing a show right now if it was a benefit of some kind in solidarity with the ongoing ICE occupations. They were super receptive, and beyond that said it made doing an event right now feel okay and not corrupted with these dichotomies.

I’ll be donating my fee, and all of our profits will be donated to - they are doing great advocacy work, legal trainings and community support for vulnerable communities in Iowa right now.

I just want to put out there for other artists and promoters - sometimes there is something to join that makes standing up easy. Sometimes there isn’t. Sometimes all it takes is for you to stand on your principles and you will see how ready other people are to follow you in that.

Don’t be afraid to stand up. Don’t be afraid to speak out. This scene, this culture - it was born from struggle, resistance and antifascism.

I’ll also be running my own mutual aid effort - if you bring in any PPE (respirators, goggles, gloves, etc) for people on the ground in Minneapolis, I will personally match it either financially or physically and bring it to the front lines in MN myself.

Hope to see everyone out there next Friday. Let’s get together for a moment of healing and community, and challenge what a show can be. It’s more than a place to go get fu**ed up. Let’s bring antifascist action back into the scene. Let’s empower one another and resist collectively. Let’s not forget that there are other people in this music scene who are scared to leave their house, let alone go to a show. We owe it to them to make use of these spaces and privileges and do something positive with it.

TRUST. LOVE. COMMUNITY. THE RIFT.

Symmetry Music & Arts Festival - where do I even begin? A year of work, blood, sweat, tears, laughs, and connecting. From putting on a whole tour, to coordinating a festival, to my first art installation, to my favorite set I’ve ever played - I really did everything I could and then more.

Thank you to everyone who trusted me and our team to deliver an amazing event. It means everything to me for all of you to believe in this project enough to step away from the world for a few days and immerse yourself in this creation.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my music project as The Boatman. I feel like I am finally really getting into the meaning of this project and expressing it fully. If you were at my set at Symmetry, then you know. You got to see the most authentic expression of this project to date.

Now for some callouts.

Thank you for believing in this little community of ours. Without your vision and your network I don’t know where we would be, but it certainly wouldn’t be here. And thank you for trusting me at every step, for trusting my judgment, my skills, my vision and my values. I feel that we are on a powerful journey of growth together.

Thank you and for being my rocks. For being in my corner at all times. For keeping me fueled, charged, fed, heard, and healthy. Your tender care and your love are the most powerful forms of magic I have ever encountered in my life.

Thank you for embarking on a journey into the unknown and trusting that I’d have your back. Not only did we make an incredibly iconic art installation together, but you led an amazing art team that pulled through in a way that everyone couldn’t ignore.

Thank you .alterum for pulling up to a festival you could’ve easily just attended and busting your ass to help make it happen. Whether it was body doubling, helping security, or making a 6am trip to Des Moines on far too little sleep.

Thank you to all of my friends who traveled from far and wide to come experience the magic I’ve been investing my soul into. You know who you are, and there are too many of you to name.

Next up! Coming July 11th, I’ll be dropping my newest single ‘Fruits of Cyprus’ - this one is another exploration of that mystical sound that people have learned to love with tracks like ‘The One You Feed’. I hope that you all love this new track as much as I do!

On another note, I’ll be opening up for the one and only this Saturday in Des Moines as the Road to Symmetry Tour continues on forward. Small room, big sound, pure dubstep business. Iowa fam, come out! It’s gonna be fire.

What’s going on out there world? I’m a bit behind with how busy I’ve been, but I have a big project that has come to the public recently that I’m excited to share with you.

I’ve been planning the Road to tour in the Midwest and we have our first phase of dates announced!

I’ve been working behind the scenes with awesome promoters like and to put together an amazing run of shows this summer for you all. You’re in for a treat!

We’ve got killer headliners like - and my very first headline show in my stomping grounds of Minneapolis is coming up this Friday!

Big shouts out to all of the homies, I’m wicked excited for some cool b2bs with my friends and getting a chance to share the vibes and what is all about.

First stop is Mechanix on Friday (Minneapolis homies - come through!) and then we’re on to Des Moines the weekend after!

News from the Acheron: I’ll be dropping a new track this Friday called “Aiolos” - this track has been snapping on the dance floor this year and it’s high time it sees the light of day. Stay tuned and give it a listen when it drops!

I’ll also be heading to Minneapolis next month to play my first MN headline at ! Excited to play alongside my good friend on my favorite sound system, the Voids!

On a personal note, this year was my fifth and favorite Infrasound thus far. The synchronicities and family vibes hit harder than ever this year, and I got to play the silent disco to boot. A big, big moment for me that I was so happy to share with everyone.
