A magical moonrise engagement shoot for two of my dearest friends. ✨🩵🌙

This shoot was a little spontaneous but completely aligned. Alex and Justine recently got engaged and I already had a trip planned to visit them in St. Pete, FL. There happened to be a full moon lunar eclipse, so we ventured to the beach to try to capture some of the moon magic. We found ourselves engulfed in that soft, etheric, pastel glow that happens in those fleeting moments between sunset and moonrise.

Windswept, raw, blissful, magnetic, balanced. These two share a love that is truly inspiring and infectious. I couldn’t be happier for them.🩵

P.s. I’ve been revisiting my roots and dabbling in photography. It’s been fun ☺️

What is my filmmaking philosophy? I think it all boils down to PRESENCE.

I’m just an observer, allowing moments to naturally unfold, and documenting those real moments as they happen. My style is naturalistic, soft, slower-paced, nostalgic, and deeply romantic. I take the time to capture the magic in the easy to miss moments - the laughter, tears, funny comments, glances, and heartfelt words. I want to craft a film that reflects the HUMANNESS of your day. That is real authenticity

The art of storytelling is deeply personal for me and I craft each film with unwavering intention. My films aren’t just a series of pretty visuals and basic music, but a powerful story that makes you FEEL something. A time capsule that transports you straight back to all the emotions and fleeting moments of your wedding day. My films are not your typical, run-of-the-mill wedding films that feel contrived. As a creative, I’m constantly striving to create unique, story-driven films that feel filmic and natural.

My goal is to create films that stand the test of time and so much of that is just reflecting what’s REAL.
