i took a road-trip this weekend to Brookings SD t visit friends. On my way back i was detoured off of HWY 14 to the north of Lake Benton and i discovered this abandoned farmstead. it was not posted and so i was able to take some photos. These are a few i selected - i call this portfolio "abandoned" it was a damp dreary day - overcast - and really fit the mood of the photos i am sharing here ... let me know what you think. There are fewer and fewer sites like this that you run across in the countryside these days. It was a special experience for me to run across this place.
