earth tones and blending with nature are always a great idea if you can’t settle on a color palette for your ceremony. If you’re not set on wanting a specific floral style or coloring and need to narrow it down, just follow along with nature and what the setting will be like on the date of your wedding. This time of year in the blue ridge, the foliage is turning and the hydrangeas have mostly crisped over - so browns, tans, deep ambers and rust are perfect choices this time of year, don’t you think? Of course if you like some color a mauve and champagne addition would also be gorgeous to add. We went with warm, cozy florals that don’t compete with nature for their perfect October wedding day.

Verena blue hydrangeas are easily one of my favorites to use for large light blue designs — such a powdery and soft tone that just hits different than a normal blue hydrangea 🩵
