Located on East Texas Homestead Farms, the Cottage is an historic 58 acre farm located in the piney woods of East Texas and the location of the Cottage at Homestead Farms and Homestead Barn. Homestead Farms is a 58 acre tract owned by Vic and Cynthia Savelli that was formerly the homestead of the first individual in the East Texas area to study and document area insects, terrain and wildlife. The

restored cottage and surrounding structures are constructed completely with recycled materials from the late 1800's and turn-of-the century structures from the immediate area.
