🚨 Exciting Update at the Mineola Nature Preserve! 🚨

We’re thrilled to share that ADA-compliant swings have been installed at the Preserve! These bright, accessible swings will allow children of all abilities to enjoy playtime in our beautiful outdoor space. 🌳💛

While the swings are now in place, they’re not quite ready for use yet—the concrete needs time to cure so everything will be safe and secure. Thank you for your patience… we promise they’ll be swinging smoothly very soon!

A huge thank you to the Mineola Parks Board for seeing this project through, and special recognition to Parks Board Chairman Allison Dobbs Utley for her vision and leadership. 💐

We are especially grateful to the Mineola Economic Development Corporation for their generous grant funding and for recognizing the importance of accessibility and inclusion in our community spaces. Your support is making a lasting impact for families in Mineola! 🙌

A Great Day at the Mineola Civic Center!
Despite the threat of bad weather, the community came together for an amazing July 4th celebration! The storms passed us by, and everyone enjoyed a fantastic evening of fireworks, delicious food from local food trucks, RV camping fun, and beautiful music by the Lake Country Symphonic Band.
Throughout the day, children splashed and played at the John J. & Rheba Myers Splash Park, enjoyed lunch at the Peggy & Jack Jones Pavilion, and had fun on the playground. Some even got in a game of pickleball!
A special thank you to the City of Mineola Fire Department for the spectacular fireworks display-it was truly the highlight of the night!
Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a memorable Independence Day!
