The year of business that taught me how to put out fires, re-evaluate my priorities, pivot, communicate even more honestly, refine my systems, put “the right decision” above profit, connect with my clients through shared chaos, release what I cannot control, and be more grateful for what I have. I’d actually say it’s been a great year for business because we’re definitely stronger + more resilient than ever.

A HUGE thank you to my clients that have been nothing but amazing this year as they have navigated unwanted wedding postponements and change of plans. Y’all inspire me and we got this. ❤

I first met Carrie + Ryan a few years ago when they asked me to do a photo shoot to celebrate how long they had been married. That initial encounter turned into me following their journey of them earnestly waiting + praying for a child. Fast forward a few years, they eventually applied for adoption and even used the photos from our first photo session as their adoption profile. Here we are now, Carrie + Ryan were chosen to be the parents of not one, but two beautiful twin girls, Ruby + Penelope. This is a story of God providing the very best gifts and giving even more than you prayed for.

Meeting these little girls and watching Carrie + Ryan love on them so selflessly with such grateful hearts gave me a glimpse of just how good God is and that He is indeed taking care of the details of every story.

Every day thankful for this job. I never thought I'd have my own business and I never imagined the amazing relationships that would come into my life because of it, all of my incredible clients! You each have truly enriched my life, thank you for welcoming me into your stories and sharing lots of memorable laughing attacks and sentimental tears with me this year. I had no idea I had so many emotions in me, JK I knew that. 2018 was just so special and 2019 is already booked to the brim with more amazingness.

Ever since I was about 3 years old my dad has been whispering in my ear "work hard, play hard" .... sooooo I'll be taking a sabbatical/adventure for the next 3 months so I can come back extra recharged to give my best to my 2019 clients. Again, I don't take your trust or investment lightly, so thank you.
