Creating a design with mylar balloons (non-latex design required) comes with lots of challenges due to their inability to shape-shift. Our team was up for the challenge and knocked it out of the park!

How fun are the giant air-filled sequin "floating" balloons with custom tassels we made for the photo backdrop?!

The custom made tassels are a FAVE!! 😍They're time consuming work but they provide a bit of drama for a simple design.

Last week we had the opportunity to add a little "balloon sunshine" to three of Northwestern Mutual 's Diversity & Inclusion's event mixers at the 2022 Annual Meeting. 🙌🏽

We had multiple installations for the LGBTQ event but I didn't get the opportunity to capture them all... hence the rainbow heart I snapped after breakdown. It was too cute not to capture. 😍

So very grateful for the opportunity!!

Flurish on office space...small but mighty.

The task was to turn this cold waiting space into something warm and cozy. The rules... no paint, no wall paper. We had to work with the existing table (which inspired the finished look) and the business logo would take up the majority of the space.

To accomplish this we suggested creating some warmth and drama with a custom woodwork art installation, measuring 3ft x 7.5ft, to cover the entire wall that would have been blank space..

Initially I wanted to create one gigantic piece but since the space is temporary I decided two pieces would allow my client to move them into any space she chose.

Before (right after the move in) and AFTERS....loft space planning and redesign.

My longtime friend and client contacted me because she down-sized from a rather former home to a downtown trendy loft and wanted a redesign.

She asked for a mix of colors and textures (a complete change for her). She planned to only keep a few items and asked that we work them in the design.

The objective was to merge her home work space...allowing for functionality...into her living space. My personal favorite (aside from the green credenza) is the use of the glass desk and acrylic chair. Two very necessary pieces that are in the space but not OVERLY present.

We shopped for all the accents and some furniture items.
Purchased and upcycled vases, accent rug, lamps, accent pillows, custom TV stand, breakfast bar stools, desk, etagere bookcases, upcycled credenza and framed logo sign.

She l😍ves her space and and so do we!!

Flurish home redesign edition.

During our down time from events we've been working on a bit of home design for clients. Here I am sharing some of the upcycled projects I created for my client and her loft style home office space. (More on the finished product later)

Since she does live chats from her office we repurposed a neon sign we had made for one of her large events and made it into a logo backdrop for her office wall. The sign is still functional for her to use outside of the office by simply removing it from its base.

The CREDENZA!!! 😍 I found this piece on the Facebook Market and fell in love when I saw the functionality on the inside. EXACTLY what my client needed but didn't exactly fit the space. Then POOF...magic - a complete chic and modern makeover !! A design unique to my client at a fraction of the cost of something brand new. 😉

When you're shopping for the perfect accent pieces then decide to make your own.

I upcycled these old glass vases using printer paper, modpodge and glass paint - (and a semi-steady hand 😂) to make them look ceramic.

Can't wait to add them to my client's space. 😍

I've had this vase stored for years because I loved the shape but it just didn't go with the decor in my space.
