Every fighter has a first battle. Trials of Steel is an armored-combat exhibition devoted to the initiation of new fighters into the realm of steel.

Doors open 7 PM. Fights start promptly at 8 PM.

My first time armored fighting at the Old Falls Village Renaissance Faire in Menomonee Falls on September 12 & 13!

I had an awesome time fighting against buhurt fighters from The Raven's Nest Armored Combat and Chicago Hydras Buhurt Fight Club.

I also want to say thank you very much to everyone who donated, either in cash or online, to the Wisconsin Association of the Deaf to help Deaf youth in Wisconsin prepare for their futures!

Over the two days, I finished with 5 wins and 2 losses!

I had so much fun and had a blast fighting alongside my team!

This year, Rob is stepping into the arena for his first armored buhurt fight at the Old Falls Village Renaissance Faire—and he's fighting for a cause that matters!

Rob is raising funds for the Wisconsin Association of the Deaf (WAD) to help build opportunities and a stronger future for Deaf youth across Wisconsin.
