Wisteria, lavender, plum, and pops of navy set the tone for Katarina & Steven’s dreamy November wedding at Mercantile Hall 💜✨ We leaned into those rich, romantic shades to create lush florals that felt both elevated and cozy — the perfect combo for a late-fall celebration.

Their gold circular arch was a total moment 🌸 layered with florals that added softness against the venue’s iconic cream city brick backdrop. After the ceremony, we repurposed those blooms to bring the romance into the reception space — because beautiful and intentional is always the goal 🙌

We are obsessed with how it all came together for this sweet couple! 💫

Prom weekend got me in my feels…

Back in high school (circa 2010/2011), I took a floral design class and totally fell for the art of making corsages and boutonnieres. That little spark lit a fire—I started selling them to classmates and felt like a total boss bringing in cash with my own creations.
14 years later… and I’m still designing these prom essentials with just as much love (and a little more finesse).

A wedding close to our hearts.

We had the immense joy of designing florals for our dear friends’ son’s Palestinian wedding, held at the iconic Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. With its stunning architecture and historic charm, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration filled with love, culture, and elegance.

The floral palette featured rich shades of burgundy, dusty rose, plum, and white—romantic tones that beautifully complemented the grandeur of the space.

It was an honor not only to create for this special day, but also to stay and celebrate as guests.

This mantel was made for these florals! Becky dreamed up a palette of blush, lavender, white, and sage — and we loved bringing her spring vision to life. No roses? No problem. We filled these arrangements with garden favorites like snapdragons, stock, lisianthus, cremones, veronica, larkspur, and pennycress. 🌷💐🌿🌞

Klaire + Alex said I do at the Milwaukee Historical Society, and this one was all about timeless elegance with a modern twist. We made every stem and candle count—from a dreamy, floral-lined aisle to a lush arch moment that perfectly framed their vows.
White, cream, and champagne blooms paired effortlessly with the dark green bridesmaids’ dresses and the marble-and-gold magic of the venue. It was one of those pinch me kind of days behind the scenes.

Hi there! I’m Cecilia — the creative mind behind Florasynthesis. The name is inspired by the magic of photosynthesis: just like plants transform light into energy, we transform ideas and inspiration into beautiful, living floral art.

My floral journey began back in high school, learning design basics and helping my mom with her silk floral business. I’ve been chasing blooms ever since, and 12 years later, I’m proud to be doing what I love — bringing heart, creativity, and intention to every design.

I’m originally from Texas, but during college, I took a leap and headed to Wisconsin for a floral internship. I ended up falling in love — with the state, its seasons, and its people — and eventually found a place I could call home.

Florasynthesis is based in Milwaukee and offers full-service wedding and event florals throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.
