✨ June Pop-Ups & Live Painting Events ✨

I am SO, SO excited for this month's lineup of live painting events and pop-ups! Every month I get to paint in new places, meet incredible people, and create little keepsakes and memories through art... and this month feels especially surreal.

If you would've told 16-year-old Cayla that one day she'd be painting at Summerfest, she probably would've either screamed or passed out. 😂 Maybe both.

As someone who grew up going to Summerfest, the thought that my artwork will be there this year honestly feels like one of those full-circle moments that doesn't quite feel real yet.

There’s something so special about getting to paint memories like these 🤍

This piece was commissioned as a Mother’s Day gift from an old childhood photo, and the entire process felt like stepping back into the early 2000s for a little while… the flash photography, layered shirts, uncontrollable laughter, all of it.

It reminded me how important these little moments become over time, and how often moms are the ones preserving them for us in the first place.

Feeling really grateful to spend this week creating paintings filled with so much love, nostalgia & family history!

As someone who’s a Harley rider (okay… “rider” as in on the back of my husband’s motorcycle 😅), this felt like such a full-circle, pinch-me moment. Total fangirl energy getting to be part of something connected to Harley-Davidson and the incredible events they bring to Milwaukee.

This past Monday I had the honor of live painting at the Harley-Davidson Museum for a special event with , , and … and I’m honestly just feeling so grateful!

It’s moments like this that remind me why I love what I do… getting to create, connect, and be part of showcasing this city in such a meaningful way.

So grateful to be included in something so special 🫶🏼
