This morning we continued the Polish Fest tradition in which we celebrate the Eucharist with music and readings in both Polish and English, a Mass that combines Polish traditions with classic Catholic liturgy.

We are grateful to The Most Reverend Jeffrey S. Grob, Archbishop of Milwaukee for celebrating Mass.

Recultured Designs had a fantastic fashion show this afternoon! Founded in 2012 by Alexandra Lisiecki, Recultured Designs grew out of a deeply personal connection to Polish and Slavic culture. She makes regular trips to Poland to source traditional folk fabrics and collaborates with folk artists from Poland and Ukraine on original embroidery designs that anchor each collection in authenticity.

👨‍🍳 Chef Joe Parajecki is presenting some of Grandma’s best recipes through cooking demonstration presentations. Earlier this afternoon he taught his attendees how to make Biała Kiełbasa or Polish White Sausage. People were even able to sample some afterwards along with Beet Salad!

Polish Fest has it's first queen! 👑 Janine Adamczyk was crowned Queen of Polish Fest yesterday evening at our Opening Ceremony, honoring her service as entertainment chair of the Polish Heritage Alliance for over 35 years.

When asked what she'd like to share with our guests, she stated she is carrying on what her father taught her, that it's important to carry on our heritage because otherwise who will? She also added that seeing people waiting in line, and then entering the grounds, having fun with their family and friends, makes all the work worth it.
