FROM THE FARMER 🌿 | Monday, August 24
If you haven’t been by the farm this week, you might have missed a little transformation happening around here.
And no, I’m not talking about the ever-changing flower fields.
Our barn has had a major facelift—and it’s only the beginning.
Over the next several weeks, you’ll see the barn continue to transform throughout September, but the changes aren’t stopping there.
Every structure on this property is part of the transformation.
The farmhouse.
The barn.
The flower shop.
The outbuildings.
The gardens.
The spaces in between.
Little by little, we’re taking this old farm and giving it new life while honoring the history and character that made it special in the first place.
And honestly, that’s one of the things I love most about what we’re building here.
The flowers are always changing. 🌸
The fields are always growing. 🌱
But the farm itself is changing, too.
If you’ve visited recently, you may have noticed something new.

September is going to bring even more changes. Some will be big and obvious. Others will be in the little details you might only notice if you’ve been watching this place evolve.
So, starting today, I’m sharing a little more of that journey.
From the Farmer will be my Monday note from the farm—a place to share what’s blooming, what we’re working on, what I’m learning, the things that don’t go according to plan, and the transformation happening all around us.
Because By The Bloom isn’t just about the flowers.
It’s about the farm.
It’s about restoring something old and giving it new purpose.
And there is a LOT happening behind the scenes right now.
