Heavy but beneficial rains are likely again today but we may have to pay the price with a slight risk of severe thunderstorms which may spin up a tornado. The threat begins as early as 2pm this afternoon and lasts well into this evening. Stay tuned!
Scattered severe thunderstorms, including a couple transient supercells, are expected Tuesday in the Mid-Atlantic. There’s a low-end tornado risk. Locally significant flooding, meanwhile, is possible in the Northeast. Matthew Cappucci has an update.
