I love when brides give me a rough outline of their vibe but then give me the gift of using my creative process.
Katie and Rhett did just that and I loved designing this whopper of an arbor for them.
Fun story behind their arbor. Fall wedding season and cross country meets tend to collide spectacularly on Saturdays. 😵💫
On this day in particular the team was in Altoona so I designed her arbor the day before and then cut it down and stored it until Saturday.
I have arrived at venues at 5 am to set up, drove over an hour to watch his race and then back to the venue for final wedding set up. It can be a lot and a little challenging so here are some tips I use.
-Do as much prep at home as possible.
-Have someone on back up or standby in case you get caught in traffic (or anything unexpected happens).
-Be clear and up front with your brides. This is their day and you are responsible for it!
