Delaware Swamp Stomp September 8, 2012 - 5K mud run full of obstacles and a great time. All proceeds go to support our wounded soldiers and the Delmarva Chistian High School.

www.delawareswampstomp.com The Delaware Swamp Stomp is one of the best events to hit our area. This event was created to provide a “vehicle of support” for great causes in our COUNTRY & COMMUNITY. The sole purpose of this event is to provide a fun tool for people like yourself to show appreciation by giving back. WHAT IS THE SWAMP STOMP? The Stomp consist of a 5K mud run full of obstacles and cool

challenges. This event is a fun run based on a team concept. Teams of four will take on the Stomp with one goal………finish together. The entire principal of this event is “OVERCOMING OBSTACLES”! We do have an individual class for those willing to take on the Stomp solo. WHAT DO YOU GUYS KNOW ABOUT MUD? The Stomp will take place at the Home of The Gumboro Mud Bog. On these grounds making mud is not just mixing water and dirt….its artwork. These “Masters of Mud” have designed a course that is not only muddy but a ton of FUN. WHEN IS THE SWAMP STOMP? September 8, 2012 @ 9AM - Rain or Shine

WHERE IS THE SWAMP STOMP? The Swamp Stomp will be located near Gumboro, Delaware. The exact location of this event will be on Fox Hound Lane, Millsboro.

Update...We just want to inform everyone that we will not be holding the Delaware Swamp Stomp this year. We sincerely appreciate the loyal support over the past 2 years. More importantly, we appreciate the willingness to get muddy for a great cause. We encourage everyone to follow the Good Ole Boy Foundation as they continue their efforts in supporting our community. Many of the founders and supporters of this foundation were very instrumental in the Swamp Stomp. They will be planning many events in the near future some with Good Ole Boy flare like the Swamp Stomp. Again, thanks for your support and thank you to all our sponsors and volunteers that made the Swamp Stomp such a successful event. We love this community and look forward to seeing you in the future!

Howdy Stompers....hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We just wanted to pass along a great organization that is starting up in our area. The organization is called the Good Ole Boy Foundation. It was created to bring together special needs of the community with awesome people like you. Currently, this organization is helping make Christmas come early for a family in our community with an urgent need. One child of the family is battling cancer that is very serious. To assure this family spends Christmas together, The Good Ole Boy Foundation is gathering items for the family in hopes of delivering them sometime this week. This will give the family the opportunity to celebrate Christmas together this coming weekend. Please like their page and thanks for helping our community.

So were the Devastators, Gator Bait, We Like It Dirty, Maryland Mud Bugs, Crimson Fireballs and scores of other teams from Sussex County, Delaware and beyond that met the challenge of the 2nd Annual Delaware Swamp Stomp - a 5K mud run that mixed fun and charitable fundraising with slime and mud.

Fastest All Female Team – Swamp Things…….Fastest All Male Team – Flying Pandas….Fastest Coed Team – Team Liberty……Fastest Individual Female – Bridget McCarthy…….Fastest Individual Male – Marcus White……..Seasoned with Courage Team (Oldest Combined Age) – The Mud Divas.
