Another reason why…

This past weekend I received a message from a sweet girl who wanted to send a fresh flower arrangement to a coworker who had recently lost her husband to COVID.
She had found me on a group page as a referral and I am beyond humbled that she reached out to me.

It was nothing out of the ordinary… just a $40 arrangement in a vase that needed to be delivered on Saturday. 🌹

I went and got everything … made the arrangement, drove to her home… and as she opened the door - this most beautiful, brokenly strong woman opened the door.

The realization of her situation hit me like a ton of bricks… 😢 Her eyes were sunk in from crying and as she asked me who I was… I felt God tell me to pray for her.

She said ok… and by the time I got through my second sentence, overwhelming sadness came over me and I started bawling like a baby! 😭😭

I prayed for God to comfort her and her family… that he gave her strength, understanding but most of all peace… a peace that only comes from God - a peace that PASSES all understanding.

I know I was sent there… on that day… the day of his funeral, a week to the day of his passing… to this sister in need. A sister who just lost the love of her life… a sister with children who need her to be strong, a sister that had been married as long as I have - a sister who just lost her other half.

I needed that… I pray she needed that - so, thank you God for using me to be a blessing not only through my talents - but for using me to do your work. All praise to my lord! 😌

Love each other, if we don’t - no one will! 🥰
