Our First Tuesday gathering scheduled for this Tuesday, October 6th, has been postponed. 🤍

While wedding season is still going strong here at The Stables, our First Tuesday gatherings will be taking a little pause for the remainder of the year.

We’re looking forward to all of the beautiful weddings still ahead this season, and we’ll be back in the new year with many more fun gatherings and opportunities to spend time with us here at The Stables.

Everyone’s favorite place to hang out: our patio 🌲

It’s where cocktail hour happens, lawn games get competitive, guests catch up between dances, and everyone gathers again for the send-off at the end of the night.

We love that it gives everyone another place to spread out, relax, and enjoy the property throughout the day.

Some people may not be able to physically stand beside you on your wedding day, but they can still have a place in it. 🤍

We’ve watched our couples honor loved ones in some of the sweetest ways at The Stables, with a photograph saved on a ceremony chair, a memory table filled with familiar faces, or a small detail tucked into the day just for them.

There’s no right way to remember someone you love. Sometimes the simplest gestures are the ones that mean the most.

A beautiful reminder that even those who are deeply missed can still feel close on a day this important. 🕊️

It’s beginning to look like fall at The Stables 🍂

Trees are starting to change color, the air is getting a little cooler, and one of our favorite wedding seasons is almost here! If you’re planning a fall wedding at the lake, here are a few things to keep in mind:

🍁 Don’t get too hung up on “peak fall color.” Early fall can still be beautifully green, while later dates bring more oranges and golds. Both look completely different in photos, and both are gorgeous here.

☀️ Move your timeline up more than you think. Fall sunsets sneak up quickly. An earlier ceremony gives you time to enjoy cocktail hour and still sneak away for lakeside photos before the light disappears.

🧥 Plan for a temperature change. A warm afternoon can turn into a chilly evening pretty fast, so keep guest comfort in mind when you’re planning everything after sunset.
