When you order from online "Florists", you are giving a HUGE company your money. They then take that money and send your order to a florist in the city where you are wanting your flowers delivered. They only give the local florist a portion of the money they charge you. Then the local florist, in some cases, has to take some of that money and send it back to the company you placed your order with, to cover fees for their services! How crazy is that?!

Don't give your money to big companies. Support your favorite local florists. They are members of your community, your circle of friends, and your family. When you support local businesses, you are supporting people you love and care about. Order yours locally and receive higher quality flowers and more bang for your buck. Those big chain online florists don't care about you or the people you are sending flowers to. But your local florist does. We put a lot of thought, effort and emotions into each arrangement we design. We cry when we do sympathy arrangements. We are happy when we do birthday bouquets. We rejoice with you when we hand deliver each "It's a Girl!" Or "Its a boy!" Bouquet. You don't get those emotions from a box.

Show that special someone that you care this Valentines Day (and everyday!) Pick up the phone and call your local florist. Let us show you how much we care and how much we love what we do!

When ordering online, you should always be cautious of Order Gathers.
Order Gathers are online market places that portray as Local Florist. They take orders and then will try to place these orders with florist for a fraction of what you pay for an order.
Please know that at Willow, we do Not Associate with these companies and will not accept orders from them. We prefer for customers to know they are speaking to a local designer and will get 100% of what they pay for.

How to spot the Order Gathers.... when looking up a florist online be cautious of those that say Sponsored above the name.
These include:
Ava's Flowers.com
Blossom Flower Delivery.com
1800 Flowers.com
Terrys Florist.com
Sunny Flower Delivery.com
Patricia's Petals.com

Did you know when you shop at 1-800-flowers you are actually paying more for your order, getting less and giving your money to a large corporation?

1-800-flowers charges you a $14.99 service fee and an additional $2.99 for a Saturday delivery. When you click the service fee icon they show a picture of a florist hand delivering your order and explain that your order is hand delivered by a florist. While that is true.

They do not give the delivering florist that $15.00 service charge to deliver or the $2.99 for the saturday delivery. In fact, they do not give the delivering florist anything to deliver. They also keep 27 percent of the posted price of the flowers and give the florist making the order no delivery fee and 73 % of the bouquet price to make and deliver your arrangement.

If your order is $69.99 plus the service fee of $14.99 plus the $2.99 saturday charge, you pay $87.97 plus tax.

The florist is given $51.08.

You are then getting a $41.08 arrangement and $10 to deliver.

Shop Local get a better product and put your money into your community and help a small business keep jobs local rather than help a big corporation get bigger.
