🍎It's back to school which has me feeling like it's "Meet the Teacher" time 🍎

I'm Kate, the Chief Flower Officer behind Fountainhead. This year we are celebrating 10 years in business 🤯which is crazy to me. I started this company out of my garage and it has grown and changed and pivoted into one of my proudest achievements. I get to employ amazing women, play with flowers in our huge studio and nerd out on the latest business software everyday!

If you're new here, welcome! We are a wedding and event florist based in Milford, CT that serves to educate and empower clients in their decor choices. I'm also a floral educator providing flower and craft workshops and a preservation artist crafting those special keepsakes that allow you to enjoy your flowers as long as possible.

Alexa & Patrick tied the knot at the stunning Inn at Longshore in Westport, CT and every detail was a breath of fresh, floral air. 🌿🤍

Their dream aesthetic? A modern flower garden: clean, textured, and effortlessly elegant. Hand-tied bouquets featured a lush mix of white ranunculus, lisianthus, sweet pea, stock flower, and classic roses — with delicate hints of crisp greenery for a fresh, natural feel. A celebration that was as timeless as it was beautifully personal.

Whimsical, Summer Fruit Wedding 🍇

Ellary & Austin were wed at the New Haven Lawn Club in New Haven, CT. Ellary is the daughter of our favorite flower farmer Janet from Backyard Blooms in Trumbull, CT. She and Austin both grew up in the same town but didn’t know each other till much later. Janet met Austin’s mom while they worked together a gym and became fast friends. Ellary and Austin share a love of travel, photography and hiking.

I left a career in public service behind to follow my flower dream, but I've never lost my spirit for serving the public. I want to be the person that injects your world with more color!

I'm a "jill-of-all-trades", a small-town, youngest child, creative, and a pretty good cook. I pride myself on being down-to-earth, a good listener, and always ready to break the silence with a witty remark. I love my dog (Pippa), my parents, all the COLORs, and margaritas with extra salt and a side of Grey's Anatomy.
