MILACA BAND SHELL PROJECT was a quality of life improvement effort by a group of concerned volunteers dedicated to the repairs and improvements to this historic 'art-moderne' structure. Work on the band shell included new roofing, resurfacing of the stage, new interior paneling that produces superb acoustics, new electrical service including LED lighting systems, as well as the addition of new wal

kways, plazas and tree plantings for additional shade. Repairs and improvements were completed on 16 September 2016 and the Milaca Band Shell was re-dedicated the following day.
