Self-Serve DAHLIA Bouquet Bar!

I was not expecting to have flowers or open the stand again this week, especially after the cold nights we had last week and our community u-pick event... but life is full of surprises so here we are! 🤗

🌸: Dahlias will be sorted by color in buckets inside our farmstand. I will have rubberbands, floral snips and papers for wrapping set up on a table (you can also bring your own vase or jar).

💲: $2/stem (they are normally $3)! Buy 5, get 1 free, but 10 get 2 free

🗓: Thurs (10/15): 2-6p
Fri (10/16), Sat (10/17), Sun (10/18): 10a-6p

We will also have mixed bouquets and assorted straight bunches available!

A killing frost is coming Friday so this is your last chance to enjoy the dahlias and other fresh blooms until next year! Your support means the world to us and also helps to support our dahlia addiction! 🩷😉

Last Thursday we hosted our free will donation community u-pick event at our farm and I've been meaning to share an update with you guys but over the past few days, life has been full and so has my heart! It has been nice to process and revel in the generosity of our community and the goodness of God.

Throughout the night, around 50 people came to pick flowers and went home with an armful of beauty. I witnessed joy amongst families, individuals and strangers connecting with one another. It was a night I prayed over and so incredible to watch unfold.

All in all, we raised almost $1,700 for Janessa! $1,700 you guys!!! In one night!! Friday, I attended the service for her family and it felt so amazing to be able to write her a letter with a check enclosed and simply bless her.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the farm, who donated from afar and gave generously. It's so special to witness how God provides through the love & response of his people to further his kingdom. Thank you all so much for being a part of this. I'm so excited to continue to do this for years to come ❤️

Last year we did this for the first time ever and it turned out amazing so we are making it an annual tradition! This Thursday (10/8), we are opening up our entire flower field (yes, even our Dahlia plot) for a community picking event!

We have cut all that we need for our orders & bouquets this week and are ready to end our season so now we are giving all of you access to come and cut some flowers to enjoy!

⏰️: Thurs 10/8 from 3 to 7 pm (please DO NOT come any earlier!)

📍: Beezie's Blooms, 10991 Pioneer Dr. Milaca MN 56353. Drive past our house to the dead end of the road, turn right onto the gravel driveway and park out in the pasture.

💲: Suggested donation is $25 (please consider/pray about donating more if you bring a large vase or bucket). Cash, Check & Venmo are accepted forms of payment

❤️: 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Janessa Geisler. For those of you who don't know, Janessa and her family were in a tragic car accident earlier this summer. Her mom, dad and brother all passed away and Janessa survived but was in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. She has now almost made a full recovery (praise God!) but is only 18 years old and is walking through life without her family. Nothing can ever replace losing the ones we love most but we want to support her as much as we possibly can.

This season has been challenging and beautiful all at the same time but God has provided for our family in amazing ways. We give him all the honor & glory and want to share his goodness & faithfulness. Our hope is that by sharing our flowers with you all that we will bring our community together & give generously to help to further his kingdom.

One final note: please respect our neighbors by driving slow down our road and please be kind and respectful when you are here. Our field resides on the same land as our home and it is a really special place. Also, no pets!

Our U-Pick Field is officially CLOSED for the season! We had more visitors to this sweet little field than ever before this past season and we are so thankful to everyone who came out & picked!

This field has connected us with so many people in and it fills my cup to get to witness you guys experience the joy that growing flowers has brought me. I love that we've created a space for people to come and just be. To be creative, find peace and immerse in God's beautiful creation.

I of course, already have some plans in mind for next year but always respect any feedback you have, both good and bad! If you visited this summer, what did you love and enjoy? What would you like to see done differently? Please share! 🫶

Happy Fall Equinox! Now that the calendar says it's fall, I'm ready to embrace it and revel in the beauty of a new season. This is something I struggle with every year and often find myself feeling in a bit of a rut when summer first starts to fade away, but last night as I was out cutting in the field watching the clouds dance and the sun fall closer to the trees, the sky lit up with this magical sunset ✨️

This time of year, I'm racing daylight to get everything cut before dark but this sunset made me stop dead in my tracks and soak it all in because I know that sadly, I won't have too many more nights with this view. So here's to holding on to the flowers, sunshine, and the beauty of fall. To making every day count and being grateful for the simple things in life. Even if it's cold 😉

Next week's temperatures are looking promising but the flowers are cold & tired (as am I) and we don't know how much longer everything will hold on! Be sure to find time to enjoy the flowers and fruits of the garden before they are gone! Our farmstand will be open Thurs-Sun this week and our U-Pick field is also still open and I've lowered the price to just $15/person and $5/kid. Come soak in the color of the farm before it's gone 🩷
