B.J. Forman is currently the Art Department Coordinator for the TV show, The Chosen. He spent the last four years as the Production Stage Manager for the Broadway production of Thoughts of A Colored Man, which made its world premiere at Syracuse Stage. It was the first new play to open on Broadway after the COVID shutdown. Before that, he spent time on the road as the Production Stage Manager for the National Tours of The Sound of Music, and Mamma Mia!
He was also on the Stage management team at Avenue Q and GREASE on Broadway and stage managed both the Broadway production and the First National Tour of the revival of 42nd Street. He has toured both nationally and internationally with Man of LaMancha, Joseph…Dreamcoat, and The Phantom of the Opera. Off-Broadway, he was the Production Stage Manager for Jewtopia, Confessions of a Mormon Boy, The Musical of Musicals, the Musical, Pirates of Penzance and the workshop/revival of The Rink.
B.J. spent 3 years with the Gold Coast Opera Company, Stage Managing Tosca, Norma, La Boehme, The Merry Widow, HMS Pinafore, The Mikado, Showboat and Camelot. He also spent two seasons Stage Managing for the Miami City Ballet.
