We're welcoming back this year to CHFA the one and only Ladrell James!

He is a musician and filmmaker and is the Founder of the nonprofit Emerge Media, a kingdom-minded video, content, and multimedia production company. Through Emerge Media, Ladrell has worked on the project “Like A Daughter Short Film”. As part of THRIVE, he has worked on “In the Middle Talkshow”, “Elizabeth Anna's Old World Garden Rebrand to Viva City”. He is also known for his work on Unconditional (2012), The Rift (2009), and Unusual Suspects (2010). Ladrell is also a father; and all aspects of his life blend to be an effective storyteller, with many technical and practical skills.

Returning this year to CHFA is the amazing Jazzie Dash!!

Jazzie Dash was born and raised in Waco Texas, is a disciple of Jesus Christ, a corgi mama, and 1st Assistant Director. Jazzie began her filmmaking journey by winning a $30,000 scholarship competition to attend film school. In 2017, Jazzie became a full-time freelancer. She cultivated her craft by working as a PA on commercials in DFW while also working as a 1st AD on low-budget indie shorts. With the best of both worlds, she has worked on projects as 1st Team PA for the TV series "1883", Art Coordinator for "The Unbreakable Boy," and 1st AD for "Vindication" seasons 2-4. She is currently working on a TV series titled "Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries".

Thrilled to announce that Catherine Lidstone will be joining us this year for CHFA's Acting for Film!

Originally from New England, Catherine Lidstone is an award-winning Actor/Writer/Producer and Singer-Songwriter in development with Curb/Word Records. She stars as Mary of Bethany in Dallas Jenkins' 'The Chosen' (CW). She received acclaim for her breakout role opposite Kelsey Grammer in Fox's one hour legal drama 'Proven Innocent', and her latest single "Lighthouse" has garnered tens of thousands of streams. Her Original Music has been placed on major networks and streaming services in feature films and television (Disney, Amazon, YouTube, Netflix & more).

Catherine has starred in a breadth of TV series including SXSW's James Ward Byrkit sci-fi 'Shatter Belt' (AppleTV+), a recurring role as Ensign Cervantes on CBS/Paramount's 'Seal Team'; and high-profile indie features such as Pinnacle Peak's 'Forty Seven Days with Jesus' (Amazon), Lifetime Movie Club's 'Dead In The Water' and Dances With Films' Official Selection 'Proof Sheet'.

Additionally, Lidstone has Produced/Starred in Award-Winning Films that have swept the Festival circuit for Best Actress and Best Picture. With her feature screenwriting debut in pre-roduction and an upcoming Album, Catherine has established herself as quite the multi-faceted star.

We're so excited to welcome this year to CHFA's FAM, Nicole Rae Jones! 🎉

Nicole is a native of the Pittsburgh area. After attending Point Park University where she obtained both a BA in Dance and BA in History, she moved to Jerusalem, Israel to work with Vertigo Dance Company before returning to Pittsburgh and dancing with Reed Dance (former August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble). Following this she moved to New York City to work for NYU Law while freelancing with New York based choreographers. This led to her first Broadway show onboard Norwegian Cruise Line, "Swing!".

Nicole has since continued working in both concert and commercial dance. Broadway credits include the national tours of "Legally Blonde", "An American in Paris", and "South Pacific". She is the Associate Choreographer for the 2022-2023 national tour of Legally Blonde, as well as the London production of "Afterglow". Concert dance credits include: Vertigo Dance Company, Reed Dance, Awakening Movement, Dance Action, Shana Simmons Dance, Alison Chase/Performance. Locally, she choreographed the Western Pennsylvania premier of "Alice By Heart."

Nicole teaches and choreographs locally in the Pittsburgh tri-state area with dance and theater schools as well as community, semi-professional, and professional theater.

Plans, implements, coordinates, and supervises an assigned group of children and youth participating in a one-week Christian Fine Arts Camp (CHFA), with a focus on film, theatre, and creative arts programming; always promotes quality of programs and safety of campers; provides faith-based guidance and role modeling to campers; promotes and stimulates camper participation in both recreational and arts-based activities; coordinates and leads campers through their daily schedule ensuring punctuality and responsibility.
