Introducing...
Andrea Lopez was born and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, where her passion for Mexican culture and dance began at the age of 12 as a member of her middle school's Ballet Folklórico group. At 16, she moved to West Texas, where she continued pursuing her love for folklórico.
Andrea spent four years dancing with the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) Ballet Folklórico, further developing her artistry and performance experience. She then continued her training for two years with the Ballet Folklórico Company at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) in Edinburg, Texas, where she refined her technique and deepened her appreciation for the rich traditions of Mexican folkloric dance.
Through years of dedication, Andrea has remained committed to preserving and sharing the beauty of Mexican culture through dance, bringing passion, and authenticity to every performance.
