I don’t post many sneak peeks anymore, but this one pretty special to me! Gage is my nephew, and he was a trooper dodging raindrops and hitting poses for over five full hours the other day. His mama (my beautiful sister) was my very first senior client. 💙

From leg warmers to leather jackets, y’all showed up in true retro style. It was an absolute joy snapping shots of everyone dancing, laughing, and living it up while Miranda and the M80's rocked the stage with those classic 80’s jams we all know and love. 🎶🕺💃

Heads up for all my photographer friends who go chasing waterfalls in the UP…

The Munising Falls Trail within Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is closed until further notice.

An approximate 75-foot section of the paved trail was washed out the evening of April 28th from recent heavy rainfall and seasonal snow melt.

As a result, there is currently no safe access point to view Munising Falls. Travel in the Munising Falls area is strictly prohibited to protect both visitor safety and sensitive natural resources.

We had a great time learning, creating content, and developing friendships at our Stars & Vows workshop this past weekend in Port Austin. Thank you to our site host City Schoolhouse for another amazing stay! I cannot thank our models enough for enduring the cold winds while we clicked away. A special thank you to Rochelle Schultz and Kellie Prowse for supplying some of the wardrobe. Being a photographer is so much better when you have a community who supports instead of competes. 💕📸
I cannot forget the creative behind the hair and make up… Sanchez You rocked it! 😘 A ginormous thank you goes out to my studio assistant who kept the dishes clean, food on the table, and clothing steamed. I truly do not think she sat down except when riding in the car. Thank you Mama, McQuay. Last, but certainly not least…. Thank you to all of the attendees who make workshops like this possible! I hope that it’s evident to all of you how much I love what I do and enjoy providing this service for all of you. I hope to see you at the next one!
