We also see Matthew Hydzik (one of our current musical theatre instructors), and Allan Snyder (former instructor, and actor in several Lincoln Park shows). Break a leg to all!

This past weekend was an exciting one for this small but mighty group- they graduated! They are energized, highly motivated, talented, and ready to take on the world! Congratulations to our Thespian Society Troupe #7184 for a successful Thespian Awards Dinner last week! We celeberated our current Thespians, paid tribute to our graduating senior members, and inducted 33 new Thespians into the troupe! We also shared memories of the past year in the Theatre Department, and installed our officers for the next school year. Thank you to all of the families that donated food, the staff and administration for help organizing, faculty who attended and wrote tributes, our outgoing student officers who helped tremendously with the planning, the maintenance team that helped with the setup, and all of the students, staff, and faculty that made this event possible! We will see you next year!

We had such a wonderful time on the Thespian Society Canada trip this year! We traveled to the Shaw Festival to see a wonderful performance of Anything Goes, then on Saturday we were off to the Stratford Festival to see a wonderful heartwarming performance of Annie. Then, a fun stop at Niagara Falls on the way home on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who help make this trip possible, and thank you to my fellow chaperones, Mr. Raines and Mrs. Potts-George for helping things run smoothly! We can’t wait for next year!
