Just a year ago I would watch videos of flower farmers with a handful of snapdragons and think about how badly I wanted to do that. Something about it was just so amazing to me.

I genuinely didn’t think I could do any of this.
But I wanted it. So I put in the work.

I did so much research during the winter.
There are several types of snapdragons.
Types 1 and 2 love the cooler weather and thrive in it. Types 3 and 4 can do well through our hot summers.
I mostly planted 3’s and 4’s.

To get strong stems they all need to be planted before it gets warm. Once they’re strong they can even do great in the frost of April! The coolness gives them good roots and stronger stems.

So anyway. Here I am with one of my many handfuls of snapdragons. 🩷

Flower Tuesday!

I don’t know how many more days of flowers Michigan will give me.
If you haven’t taken home some of my flowers tomorrow is a great day.
(Tuesday September 22)

I will have …
3 sunflower bunches
6 mixed bouquets
5 bud vases

$15 for bouquets. $5 bud vases.
Cash or Venmo.
Flowers available until 6pm

If you have stopped by my stand this summer I would love feedback in the comments under this post! Something you loved or something different you would like to see next summer.
(Don’t worry…. I already have ridiculous plans to add to this insanity. Shhhh… don’t tell my husband. It’s a surprise 😂)
