Ten years have passed since the Valley Fire. We carry the memory, the loss, and also the strength that has guided us forward. Together, we will honor lives lost, thank those who served, and celebrate the resilience that defines us.

Tomorrow, Saturday Sept 6 · 7–8:30pm

Please join us at the Middletown Art Center for a special evening in conversation with artist Alana Clearlake. Her retrospective spans over 50 years of creativity — felted sculptures, enamel, jewelry, and watercolors — each piece inspired by the forms of nature.

It’s a rare chance to hear directly from the artist and to experience this extraordinary body of work together.

The exhibition will be on view through Sept 8.

The Valley Fire left deep scars on our land and in our hearts. Yet from the ashes, we rose—together. Neighbors became family, art became healing, and resilience became our way forward.

This September, we gather once more to honor those we lost, thank those who served, and celebrate the strength that carries us still.

On Saturday, September 6, from 7–8:30pm, join us at the Middletown Art Center for an exclusive evening with artist Alana Clearlake.

Alana’s work carries us through 50+ years of creative exploration, from delicate watercolors to enamel vessels, jewelry, and immersive felted sculptures that seem to breathe with the rhythms of nature. Her retrospective is a journey through forms both microscopic and vast, organic and fluid, alive with imagination.

This conversation is a chance to step inside the mind and heart of an artist whose work is as much about consciousness as it is about craft.

SAVE THE DATE – A Celebration of Our Resilience

Ten years have passed since the Valley Fire, yet the memory still burns in our hearts. We come together not only to remember what was lost, but to honor the love, courage, and community that carried us through.

On Friday, September 12 in Cobb, we’ll gather at Mandala Springs Wellness Center to honor lives and service, then share time together at the Little Red School House.

On Saturday, September 13 in Middletown, we’ll meet in the Square Park to commemorate, walk downtown to savor food together, then fill the evening with art, music, poetry, dance, and a movie under the stars.

These two days are more than remembrance—they are a living tribute to our strength, our healing, and our shared resilience. Let’s gather side by side and celebrate how far we’ve come, and all that we continue to build together.
