The Good Weather String Band is a six piece group of old-time inspired and original music with banjo, mandolin, guitar, dobro, vocal harmonies, upright bass and cajón. Born out of backyard jam sessions, band members include Chris and Cordelia (mandolin and banjo) of Mulberry Soul, Collin Bay (dobro), a multi instrumentalist who has performed and recorded with world class musicians including Becca Stevens, Michaela Anne and Anthony Lamarca, Ben Turiano (bass) of The Blue Barn Cats and Brindamore and Fabio Garote, (cajón) a founding member of the Chilean band Wentru which performed at festivals including South by Southwest. They will be joined by special guest Jason Richards on the fiddle, reigning from Houston, Texas.

Thank you Stephanie Rober Sheedy for donating materials to our new stage! It’s coming along quite nicely and we’ll be enjoying this for years to come! Looking forward to seeing some music on it this weekend!

We’re going to be listening to the best music in Middlesex in a couple short weeks, but before that happens we need to get some work done. A couple of us will be there tomorrow cleaning up the site to prep for the big build and setup the following weekend. We’d love to have you join us! Stop by or reach out on how you may want to help. We're getting closer to the biggest little music festival in the world!

There's a new addition to the lineup. Oscar Fargnoli, will be playing solo for us throughout the festival.

We will be printing some posters in the near future and hanging them around town. Feel free to reach out if you would like to spread the word and hang a few around the Finger Lakes.

Hey y’all, it’s been awhile! We have some great news for ya!

We have decided to bring the Middlesex Music Fest back into action. The date is set for August 24th, 2024! Put it on your calendar and stay tuned for our music lineup. We look forward to seeing everyone in the Middlesex Valley once again!

A big thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday for the best little music festival in the world! It’s amazing to have a community of people to enjoy great music and the beauty of Middlesex with. Thank you to our musicians who played the best music I’ve seen at MMF in a long time (Dirty Blanket, Aaron Lipp Music, Bobby Henrie, Brian Blankenberg). We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
