Hard at work, but never too busy for a good photo!

These young ladies are just a few of the many hardworking members of our Conrad’s Ruth Villa team. They spend our summer events running food, serving guests, cleaning restrooms, and doing whatever else gets thrown their way. On our busiest days, they barely stop moving.

Fueled by snacks, caffeine, inside jokes, and the occasional five-minute break, they somehow manage to keep smiling through it all.

Somehow, no matter how busy the event, these young ladies are always ready when the camera comes around.

Their amazing customer service and positive attitudes are a big part of what keeps our guests coming back year after year. They represent just a small part of the incredible team that works hard behind the scenes to make every event a success.

Great events start with great people, and we’re fortunate to have some of the best.

We were thrilled to welcome ABC Greater Baltimoreback to Conrad’s Ruth Villa for their annual Bands by the Bay!

One of ABC Greater Baltimore’s signature events, Bands by the Bay brings members of Baltimore’s construction community together for an evening of networking, great food, live music, and summer fun.

Once again, Swamp Donkey Newgrass provided the soundtrack for a great evening by the bay. Guests enjoyed steamed crabs, cold drinks, co****le, horseshoes, raffles, and plenty of time to catch up with friends and colleagues throughout the industry.

ABC Greater Baltimore represents more than 650 member firms throughout the region’s commercial construction industry, bringing together contractors, suppliers, and industry professionals while supporting workforce development, education, and opportunities within the trades. We’re always proud to see so many members of this community come together here at Conrad’s Ruth Villa.

Thank you to ABC Greater Baltimore, their team, sponsors, and everyone who helped make Bands by the Bay another memorable summer event. We truly appreciate your continued partnership and the opportunity to host this great tradition year after year!

Another longtime summer tradition continued as we welcomed Windsor Electric back to Conrad’s Ruth Villa for their annual Family Picnic!

Founded in 1955, Windsor Electric is celebrating an impressive 71 years in business this year. For more than 30 years, we’ve had the privilege of hosting their family picnic here at Conrad’s Ruth Villa—a relationship and tradition we’re incredibly proud to continue.

Year after year, the picnic provides an opportunity for the Windsor Electric team and their families to step away from the workday, spend time together, and enjoy a summer afternoon filled with great food, fun, and memories on the waterfront.

A special thank you to John, Ed, and the entire engagement team for continuing to place their trust in Conrad’s Ruth Villa. After more than three decades of celebrations together, we’re grateful to once again be part of this special Windsor Electric tradition.

Every August, we have the privilege of hosting one of the largest and longest-running events of our summer season—the Propeller Club of Baltimore Annual Crab Feast!

The Propeller Club has held this incredible event at Conrad’s Ruth Villa since the summer of 1962. More than six decades later, the tradition continues, bringing together thousands of people from Baltimore’s maritime community for a summer afternoon on the waterfront.

Established in 1931, the Propeller Club of Baltimore represents professionals from throughout the maritime industry, including stevedores, shippers, pilots, steamship agencies, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and the many support businesses that keep our port and maritime community moving. The organization continues to promote the maritime industry and recognize the vital importance of waterborne commerce to Baltimore and beyond.

With 2,000–3,000 industry professionals in attendance each year, the Annual Crab Feast is truly something special to see. Steamed crabs, great food, cold drinks, old friends, new connections, and the camaraderie of Baltimore’s maritime community make this one of the highlights of our summer season.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Propeller Club of Baltimore for continuing to place their trust in Conrad’s Ruth Villa. It’s an honor to have been the home of this Baltimore maritime tradition since 1962, and we’re proud to continue a partnership that has now spanned generations.
