Were you given some beautiful florals this past holiday season or looking to save some special blooms from a memorable occasion? Here’s a couple of quick tips! ✨💐 (thanks proflowers for the helpful information!)
.
.
.
First, assess which blooms you’d like to dry. 🧐
.
.
For bouquets, roses, or other robust flowers, air drying works best. Secure a rubber band or string at the end of the stems (can be dried individually or together in bunch) and hang upside down in a dark dry area for up to three weeks. Spray with unscented hairspray for additional preserving power!
.
.
.
For more delicate flowers, like lilies, pressing them flat is recommended! Simply press your desired blooms in between the pages of a hardcover book and leave for up to two weeks.

Some DIY dried flower craft ideas 💡 ✨: Shadow box frame with a picture or two, scrapbook pages, or modge podge them on to a piece of furniture or wood! The sky’s the limit! 🤩 #flowers #diy #driedflowers #craftidea #scrapbook #flowerhack
