Today was our Christmas party for the children of Chapman Homeless Centers, made possible by our Beacon Grant. Kids had breakfast, lunch, decorated their personal Christmas ornaments, face painting, balloons, magic, and Santa gave out presents to all the kids, along with backpacks, personalized stockings, games, and karaoke! A great day was had by all.

Hey, good people with big hearts! 💖 On November 3rd, from 3 PM to 7 PM, we’re coming together at the Lodge to make a difference! We’ve got an amazing Benefit Concert lined up to support Florida hurricane victims, and we need YOU there!

A $25 cash donation is suggested at the door. Plus, we’ll have a cash bar and food for purchase. Every dollar raised will go directly to help those affected by the recent hurricanes. 🌪️

Busy day at Modern Towers finishing up with our focus grant deliveries and also a donation from Luis and Madeline Rumayor of six brand new chairs with Jeff Muefeld, Sharon Weiss, Raymon and Jason, Veterans at Modern Towers an OY6 project for homeless Veterans. Thanks to our Focus Grant and 42 welcome home kits, we are doing all possible to make them finally at home with all their needs covered!

After speaking with Candice from Chapman Partnership, we’ve learned that their two centers, which serve over 800 homeless residents daily, are in immediate need of diapers (any size). We’ve supported them in the past with grants and plan to do so again this year, but right now, their need is urgent.

If you can help, we’re asking members to please bring diapers to the lodge today, Thursday, or Friday. We’ll make sure they are delivered first thing Saturday morning.

If you can’t shop but still want to help, you can:

Write a check to Miami Elks Lodge with "diapers" in the memo
Drop off cash in an envelope at the lodge or in the donation box at the bar
Every bit helps. Let’s come together for our community! 💙
