The story of Sweet Carlina began shortly after my sister's passing. My sister Carlina and I always wanted to make a catering
company but unfortunately the circumstances did not allowed us
to make our dream a reality. In her memory I have decided to
start a dessert buffet service that will delight everyone who
will try any of our delicious desserts.

This is the Pumpkin Cake with cinnamon maple cream cheese frosting!!! Delicious...

Description of the pictures posted in my previous post.
The first pictures shows the Pumpkin Roll the cake is moist and it is filled with cream cheese frosting.
The second picture shows the Prune Bavarois which is Airy, foamy meringue studded baked with chopped prunes, covered with caramel and always accompanied by some custard on the side. The third picture shows the Suspiro de Limena it is a two layer dessert, the bottom layer is made of dulce de leche that has been enriched and the top layer is a sweet, stiff meringue made with port wine.

Now this is my ultimate favorite dessert in the whole world Prune Bavarois (Bavarois de Guindones)
Airy, foamy, light and delicate...these are some of the words I can use to describe this dessert. Covered with caramel and always accompanied with custard on the side.

Cocadas are a typical coconut candy or cookie, they are oven baked but are served at room temperature to provide their chewy and soft texture.

This delicious traditional dessert is made with a light sweet fried dough in tubular form, filled in at both ends with dulce de leche and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Though the traditional filling is dulce de leche at Sweet Carlina we will fill them with your favorite flavor.

This is our delicious Pionono, sometimes filled with dulce de leche, others with chocolate cream, strawberry cream....the list never ends, we will custom make them to your favorite flavor. We also make mini Piononos for special events.

Alfajores are sandwich cookies filled with dulce de leche, a creamy caramel confection made from milk and sugar and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Dulce de leche is the most common filling, however at Sweet Carlina we use guava, strawberry, chocolate, nutella, coconut, peanut butter, lucuma (a subtropical fruit of Andean origin, native to Peru)

Delicious Suspiro de Limeña a classic Peruvian recipe, quite unusual and delicious. The bottom layer is made of Dulce de Leche (known as Manjar Blanco in Peru) that has been enriched with egg yolks. The top is a sweet, stiff meringue made with port wine. The combination is rich, sweet, creamy.
