The internet said she shouldn’t have a Quinceañera… so we gave them one they couldn’t stop talking about.

This might be THE most controversial Quinceañera of the year.

Because apparently, a young Black Afro-Latina girl celebrating her quince was something the internet had a lot to say about. From “she shouldn’t have a Quinceañera” to questioning whether she was “Latina enough” to celebrate the tradition… the comments were LOUD.

But here’s what we knew: her culture, her identity, and her celebration weren’t up for debate.

So we did what we do best. We brought together an incredible creative team and took this Quinceañera to an entirely different level.

And let me just say… this was NOT a wedding.

The details. The production. The design. The experience.

One thing about us? We’re going to create the celebration exactly as it deserves to be celebrated.

So, Internet… was she supposed to have a Quinceañera?

Because we think she deserved every single moment.

Hey guys, while I’ve been a little quiet on social media, I’ve still been very much in my creative and hosting era, curating and executing beautiful experiences across our different platforms. Especially through … if you’re not following yet, that is definitely a page you’ll want to fall in love with.

But I wanted to pause for a quick check-in… where have you all been, and what’s been filling your first half of the year?

Our recent design, Inspired by , I reimagined my backyard into a soft, luxurious Tuscan escape—where every detail was intentionally designed to feel warm, elevated, and effortlessly romantic.

From layered neutral linens, soft ivory tones, and organic textures to candlelit tablescapes, natural greenery, and subtle stone-inspired elements… every piece worked together to transport the experience somewhere between intimacy and escape.

This wasn’t just a dinner. It was a celebration of motherhood, friendship, and love in its most refined form, crafted to slow time, deepen connection, and allow the moment to be fully felt.

Even in my quiet season online, Tica Rose Events has been creating, designing, and producing meaningful luxury experiences behind the scenes. And this is just a glimpse into that world.
