The IBMS was the very first event of it's kind to launch in the cutting edge modeling and photography industry. Since 2011, The IBMS has helped make the dreams of thousands come true. IBMS has been a leading force in the industry, as well as, an inspiration to the birth of numerous new companies that have tried to imitate The IBMS. But don't be fooled; no other company or event in the industry is quite like The IBMS.
No other company out there draws together hundreds of models, photographers, magazines, designers, industry professionals and more to one location for one week to produce thousands of images, hundreds of publications and countless opportunities. Making dreams come true...
Founded in 2011 by husband and wife business duo, Patrick and Elina McKinney, The IBMS is now one of the largest international model searches, networking outlets, career launching platforms and event production companies known worldwide.
The very first IBMS event had a total of 9 models and 1 photographer in Freeport, Bahamas in Spring of 2012. Now, hundreds of models and photographers travel from around the globe to attend The IBMS and thousands of models participate in our competitions each year.
The IBMS Family continues to grow at a rapid pace each day. It continues to draw the attention of so many accomplished and aspiring models, photographers, designers, hair stylists, makeup artists and industry professionals because of the legitimate professional opportunities that are created during our events and within our company. Not only do we promote the professional growth that one can achieve within our company, but we also highly promote the professional growth that one can achieve among other companies, magazines and agencies in the industry, as well.
Nearly 90% of the models and photographers who have attended an IBMS Event have been published in national and international print and online publications. The IBMS connects industry professionals from all around the globe; creating the opportunity for exposure and success. We work very closely with major publications and companies that source their models and photographers directly from IBMS events.
