More than half of a wedding day happens at night, yet when searching for a wedding photographer, you mostly see daytime photos.

We all love images captured with natural daylight, but chances are that a large portion of your wedding will take place during the evening and nighttime—and you’ll want those moments captured beautifully as well.

After more than 21 years as a wedding photographer, the best advice I can give you is to ask your photographer to show you full galleries with daytime and nighttime photos, indoors and outdoors, to make sure they can handle all lighting conditions.

Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. Share it on social media by all means, but remember: you are creating memories, not content.
