I’ve seen it time and time again.. most people are getting it wrong when looking for where to stay on their trip 😔

And it’s not their fault! With approx 200,000 hotels in the entire world, who wouldn’t go stir-crazy staring at the computer screen?! 😵‍💫

We can at least agree that not all hotels are created equal, right? I mean if they were, then we’d all be staying at the airport La Quinta, no matter how many 1-star reviews it has🤢

Instead, the biggest positive feedback I receive on hotel stays are for things like:
🥿 the slippers they left by the bedside during turndown
🤩 how close it was to all the must-sees on their trip
🧴the buttloads of counter space for their 7-step skincare routine
🍸the welcome drink they received at check-in

New series alert‼️🥳 I’ve always been a little embarrassed to admit I’m not a museum person — but why should that be embarrassing?!

Everyone has their version of a good time, and mine definitely isn’t standing in silence, staring at statues behind glass 🥲

I’m scared of bees, but I’d book this Positano hotel again in a heartbeat🐝💛

I wasn’t officially a travel planner yet when we visited the Amalfi Coast, but my research told me to stay outside of Positano, in Sorrento for example, where hotels were cheaper and less crowded.

But here’s the thing: when it comes to travel, we usually have a specific vision we’re chasing, right?🪄

Mine for this trip was that postcard view of the beach, with the cathedral and cliffside homes just off to the right.

I had seen it on influencer’s accounts like 100000 times and I just wanted to stare at it IRL forever 😭

So like I tell all my clients… I prioritized the thing that mattered most to me — I splurged on the hotel and kept the budget moderate everywhere else on our trip.
