Well this is 40 folks! šŸ’ƒšŸ»šŸ„³šŸ¤— Thank you for all the birthday wishes and love! šŸ„°ā¤ļø 9-9

Iā€™m beyond grateful for my amazing, sweet, and caring daughters. My 30s were a rollercoaster of experiences. I transitioned from being a stay-at-home mom to launching my own wedding photography business, which my dear husband Chris now oversees, and itā€™s something Iā€™m truly proud of. Last year, I took a huge step and opened an in-home studio, where I rekindled my passion for photographing babies and newbornsā€”something that fills my heart with joy.

But last decade also brought its share of heartache. I lost my dear grandmother, Ondina, who courageously brought my mother and aunts from Cuba, and I also had to say goodbye to my sweet aunt Maria. On top of that, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis, which led to an exploratory laparoscopic surgery where they discovered endometriosis in stage 3 had spread across too many organs and pelvic structures to name. While the surgery helped in some ways, it also left me with months of physical therapy and pain. I now rely on medication to manage the neuropathic pain caused by nerve damage from the surgeryā€”without it, I was walking with a cane. That treatment has been life-changing for me.

Hereā€™s to new beginnings, exciting chapters, and hopefully many more babies in my studio. šŸ“ø
